Empty Nest Blues
I will admit that I am glad to have my house back and have some peace and quiet. However, I do miss my children, their spouses, and my 10, soon to be 11 wonderful Grandchildren. Halloween was fairly quiet around here with just Dad and I. Shelly must get her views of Halloween from her mother. Boooo Hummm Boooo!!!!! I do like to see the kids dress up but I don't want to be the one to do the dressing. I have been looking at Shelly and Tara's blogs as well as this one. I don't have any pictures to add, nor would I know how to add them but I thought I might join in and leave everyone a message. I must say that I think the reason I have not been too active in checking out the blogs is because if I do then I see all that I am missing. On the other hand I can see what you guys are up to and it is so nice to see all the pictures and stories about what is happening in your life. I will try to check in more often.

Yeah, at least you have Tara! I'm like Mom. No one is around here! I really wish that we could all be closer! Halloween was rather boring this year. Maybe I am just getting older. Or maybe it's because there was no one around to share it with but my tiny little family.
I am so happy to see your post, Mom! I wish you guys would post more often. Even if you think it is not exciting enough. We just want to hear from you.
