A "wink" in time

Teagan learned how to wink today. At first he would try to do it and then put his hand up in his face to hide his eye and that was his wink. I tried to get that on camera, but when the camera got turned on, he actually winked. Oh well. It's still really cute.

This weekend

I just thought I would say that I am really excited for this weekend! It has been too long since so many of us have been together. I am just bummed that JC and Kelsey won't be there.

Can't wait to see you guys and all your kiddos!

Love, Tara

Tyler's Birthday

Tyler is now a Cub Scout. He was so excited to go to the Scout store and buy his uniform and book. When we came home from the Springs, he and James dove right in it. He's been wanting to go to scouts for a long time. Today (Sat.) was his first activity. They decorated their bikes and rode around in a neighborhood parade. Sorry no pictures to show that. I wasn't even there. I was with the YM/YW going white water rafting. That was fun. I didn't really want to do it, but they paid for an extra seat, so I went. I was just suppose to be car pooling. Ok, enough about me....

Tyler got to go to Chuck E. Cheese for his lunch. No pictures for that either. Sorry. I keep forgetting the camera. But, the boys had a great time. Then on the way home we stopped at a sporting goods store to get Tyler's big present...
... A beebee gun. He got to pick this or a new bike. Wow. That was a hard decision. Especially since he's already taken over Trentons bike that has no training wheels, and Trent won't ride it like that yet. It's too small for him, but he would not let us talk him into a bigger bike.
He got a pineapple upside down cake. He saw a pineapple in the store the other day and wanted to buy it, so I told him that we could make it into a cake. He really liked that idea. After the cake, he got to open his other presents. He got more bakugons and some bionicles. No pictures on that again. I tell ya, I stink.I thought I'd just throw this picture in there. James and showing Tyler all about the beebee gun, and the other two were just as inthralled with it as Tyler was. I guess they're gonna get one for their 8th birthday also. All in all, it was a pretty good day.
