A painted house

Flowers are hard to grow here. Either they get eaten by the local animals, or they are not so pretty. This is the best that I can do right now. I think it looks pretty good. I've got a little bit more color in there right now. It use to just be green and purple.

It feels so nice to have a finished house. Well, it's almost finished. I still need to paint the doors red. To do that, I need to prime them pink and leave them wide open. Those of you who know how Teagan is should see my dilema. ( I didn't spell that right, but you know what I mean.) We're also going to get a new screen door. A black one I think. There's no white on the outside except for the doors. Once those are done, I will be done with the outside! YA!! WAHOO!!!

This is our fake ventilation. It's only purpose is to look at it. I like my new light. It's big and pretty. It gives off really good light too. The thing under it is for the flag. It got too windy one day and bent to pole. I had to get a bigger, beefy pole. All that needs to be done with that is to put it up. Wonder how long that will take?

The house is looking great! One thing for your flowers, it would help them grow better if you remove the native dirt and get some cheap bags of potting soil for a few $ at Home Depot to put in place of the old dirt. The original dirt there is decomposed granite with little or no organic matter mixed in so there is not enough nutrients for the plants to survive the harsh weather. Well anyways, looks like you are doing well with the curb appeal!

I like it! You've done a great job!! I think Emma's words were, "Holy cow!" I like the red accents and the doors will look great as soon as you get to tether Teagan to a post. :) But, seriously, it looks great!

Wow-it looks so nice! What an accomplishment! The red looks great and the flowers are awesome. And, of course, your light is pretty, too!

It looks and sounds like you have been working hard. I hope to see the finished product sometime!
